A lane on the outskirts of Selsey, running through the flat agricultural land on the northern edge of the town. Paddock Lane has a semi-rural character, with some residential properties alongside fields and paddocks. Views from the lane are flat and open, with the South Downs visible on the northern horizon on clear days. The lane connects to the network of rural paths and tracks that cross the peninsula.
