East Street

Street guide, Selsey

A street running east from the High Street towards the coast, forming one of the main links between the town centre and the eastern side of Selsey. East Street has a mix of residential properties and a few commercial premises near the High Street junction. The housing includes Victorian cottages, interwar bungalows and some more modern development. The street leads towards East Beach and the fishing fleet, and on fine mornings it carries a steady stream of walkers heading for the coast. The character changes from commercial to residential within a short distance of the High Street.
