Mill Lane
Street guide, Selsey
A lane in Sidlesham leading from the B2145 towards Pagham Harbour and Sidlesham Quay. Mill Lane is a narrow, rural lane that passes through flat farmland before reaching the harbour edge. Sidlesham Quay, at the end of the lane, is a popular stopping point for birdwatchers and walkers exploring the Pagham Harbour nature reserve. The RSPB visitor centre is nearby, and the views across the harbour to Church Norton and beyond are particularly fine. The lane has a peaceful, agricultural character, and in winter the surrounding fields can be flooded, attracting large flocks of wading birds.
