A residential road in central Selsey, connecting the town centre area with the streets to the south. Coxes Road is lined with bungalows and some semi-detached houses, typical of the post-war development that expanded Selsey in the decades after 1945. The road has a quiet, residential character and is well placed for access to the High Street shops and to the coast. Front gardens and driveways line both sides, and the spacing between properties is generous compared to the older terraced streets found in larger towns. The road serves as a useful link between the different parts of the town.
