Quiet residential area with spacious properties between town and Church Norton

A residential area on the northern side of Selsey, between the town centre and Church Norton. Norton is quieter and more spacious than central Selsey, with a mix of detached houses, bungalows and some newer development set back from the road in generous plots. The area has a suburban character with well-tended gardens and a settled, predominantly retired population. Norton is within walking distance of both the town centre shops and the Pagham Harbour nature reserve, making it popular with people who want the convenience of the town without being in the thick of it. The Selsey Medical Centre, serving the town's healthcare needs, is located in this part of Selsey. Norton Priory once stood in this area, though no visible remains survive above ground.
