Large holiday and caravan parks bringing seasonal visitors to the western coast

The western side of Selsey is dominated by several large holiday and caravan parks, the most prominent being Bunn Leisure's parks including West Sands, Green Lawns and White Horse. These parks provide static caravans, holiday chalets and touring pitches, and during the summer months they bring a significant influx of visitors to the town. Bunn Leisure is one of the largest employers in the Selsey area. The holiday parks have their own entertainment facilities, swimming pools, restaurants and bars, creating a self-contained leisure environment alongside the town. The seasonal population boost supports the local shops and pubs during the summer but means that Selsey is noticeably quieter during the winter months. The parks stretch along the coast west of the town centre, between Selsey and the Medmerry reserve.
